The St. Petersburg Times is the largest newspaper in Florida and the 23rd largest in the U.S. The paper is published by the Times Publishing Company, which is owned by the Poynter Institute – a nonprofit journalism school in St. Petersburg. Additionally, it has a partnership with Bay News 9. The newspaper has a moderate to liberal leaning.
The Tampa Tribune is one of two major newspapers in the Tampa Bay area.
The publication is owned by Media General, and has a partnership with WFLA-TV and TBO.com. The newspaper has a moderate to conservative leaning.
